Hear 'Song of Mary and Joseph'

Mary Joseph

Verse 1 - Mary
Gabriel the angel said to me,
"Mary you are now with child.
You must name Him Jesus our Emanuel
and always place your trust in God's own keeping".
Verse 1 - Joseph
I am Joseph of the House of David,
Wanting only for a simple life,
The angel of the Lord said take this woman,
Give her comfort, make her your wife. And trust in God.

Chorus 1 - Mary
I am the handmaid of the Lord, my God.
O my child, you fill my heart with joy.
And I will sing that I will bear the Christ-Child
and I shall be bless'd. O my Child, my Lord, my God.

Verse 2 - Mary
When the star shone from the eastern sky,
I was ready for the baby.
I said "Joseph find a shelter. We must quickly make it ready."
And I said to trust God.
Joseph hums a soft lullaby to the tune of the Joseph verse.
Verse 2 - Joseph
Mary hums a soft lullaby to the tune of the Mary verse. When the star was shining like a wonder,
I was frantic for a place to stay.
Mary smiled, and held our child. He is strong, He will be OK.
So trust in God.

Chorus 2 - Joseph
Mary hums a soft lullaby to the tune of the Mary chorus. I am a carpenter, my hands are one with wood.
I have a voice in heaven.
I will take your pray'r to the Lord,
Shape it to please him, like the wood.

Verse 3 - Mary
I am Mary, Queen of Heaven.
I will be here when you call me.
Tell me what you need and I will take it to my Son and Saviour
for I trust He hears me.
Joseph hums a soft lullaby to the tune of the Joseph verse.

Final Chorus

Mary and Joseph - Simultaneous
He is the Christ Child and my Saviour. He is the Christ-Child, Saviour of the world.
O my Child, you fill my heart with joy. He is the voice of Heaven.
And I will sing that
He will hear your intentions, for He is Lord.

He will hear your pray'r for He is the Lord.
O my child, my Lord, my God. He is my Saviour and my Lord.
O my child, my Lord, my God. He is my Saviour and my Lord.
O my child, my Lord, my God. He is my Saviour and my Lord.
